How to Program Your NFC Keychain

🛠 What You’ll Need

• Your NFC keychain from Alex Sweder Art + Design

• A smartphone with NFC capability (most modern iPhones and Android devices)

• The free NFC Tools app (or another NFC writing app)

📲 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Test Your Keychain

Hold your keychain near the NFC reader spot on your phone (top back for most Androids, top edge for iPhones). A link should pop up — tap it to visit my website.

2. Install the NFC Tools App

• iPhone: Download from the App Store

• Android: Download from Google Play Store

3. Erase the Current Link (Optional)

If you want to start fresh:

1. Open NFC Tools.

2. Select Other → Erase Tag.

3. Hold your keychain to your phone until you get a confirmation.

4. Write Your New Link

1. In NFC Tools, go to Write → Add a Record → URL/URI.

2. Enter your chosen website or link.

3. Press OK → Write.

4. Hold your keychain to your phone until confirmed.

5. Test Your New Link

Tap your keychain to your phone to make sure it opens your new link.
